About Me
I am originally from Los Angeles, California. As an avid Chicago Cubs baseball fan, it somewhat unique that I spent my last night in the womb at Dodger Stadium. I grew up in a suburb of Portland, Oregon and the amazing greenery of the Pacific Northwest and I always love it when it rains.
Just out of high school I spent two years as a volunteer for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Brazil and I have been back several times since then. I graduated from Brigham Young University with degrees in History and Latin American Studies, and I have always said that history was my first passion.
Over these years of my professional career, it has been wonderful to meet with business owners, families and individuals from all over the United States. It began in 2004 as a paralegal at a consumer advocacy law firm that specializes in credit restoration. Transitioning to one of the nation’s largest broker-dealer firms, I worked with individuals who had 403b retirement plans. It was during those years that I earned my Series 6, 63 and 7 securities licenses – which I no longer hold.
Resulting from the 2008 global stock market decline (and a “reduction in force” from my then employer), I worked for a short time as a mortgage broker. It around that time that I also got my Realtors license. In July, 2009, I passed my insurance exam and began my work as a life and health Insurance agent. Since them I have educated clients from all over the country on high cash value life insurance, annuities, long-term care polices, and health insurance. I have also focused with retiring clients on the transition to Medicare and Social Security.
Since 2005, I have provided my clients a hands-on education that is based on time-tested financial principles designed to provide protection by:
