Insurance agents are required to maintain separate licenses in each state where they conduct business. Because every state has its own licensing and renewal requirements, I generally maintain active licenses in states where I am regularly meeting with new clients and obtain additional licenses when there is a current need.

While I do continue to have long-standing client relationships, I do not maintain active licenses in every state at all times due to the ongoing administrative and renewal costs.

We can discuss fundamentals, enrollment timelines, and I can answer your general questions. If it appears we are a good fit to work together, we can discuss the process for obtaining the appropriate state license before moving into plan-specific recommendations or enrollment assistance.

In many cases, the licensing process can be completed relatively quickly.
